2009 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball Hobby Box

2009 Topps Allen & Ginter Baseball brings a new slate of insert sets on a card design modeled after the original Allen & Ginter cards of the late 1800s. Each hobby box holds 24 packs of 8 cards.

New inserts for 2009 include Biggest Hoaxes, Hoodwinks, & Bamboozles, cut signature cards honoring historical figures from past centuries, and DNA cards with Napoleon and Geronimo on the checklist.

The Ginter Code puzzle also returns in a more intricate form: collectors who decode the hidden message can compete for a Ginter Code Winner Set containing autographs from every framed autograph subject in the 2009 release.

Box configuration

Good to know

• Sealed box: the cards inside are inserted at random by the manufacturer. The configuration, checklist and odds are Topps'; no particular card, player, parallel or autograph is promised.

• Older products can include redemption, contest or online-code cards whose manufacturer deadlines have passed; they may no longer be redeemable.
